All Men/Women Should Take Prior Approval From BJP For Marrying
After questioning the marriage of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma and calling them unpatriotic, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala on Wednesday took a jibe at BJP by saying, All young women/men in India, please take prior approval from BJP for whom to marry, the venue of marriage, the nature of festivities and the food menu.
Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Pannalal Shakya raised the question on Virat Kohli’s “patriotism” on Tuesday, when Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma got married in Italy. Shakya said without mentioning the name of Kohli, “A big cricketer has recently got married. But in a big country, did he not get a place for marriage? “Virat has earned money and fame in India and he went to Italy to get married. Bhagwan Ram got married on this land, Bhagwan Krishna got married on this land and this man went to Italy to get married,” he added.
Shakya said this on Tuesday on the occasion of the inauguration of the Prime Minister Skill Development Center. BJP spokesperson Rajneesh Agarwal told reporters that this is a private statement of Shakya. This has nothing to do with the BJP.
