The last Batman, Ben Affleck is said to be out of the DC universe and will not be playing the Batman in the next movie, there are rumours that Jon Hamm is to take his place. Jon Hamm has featured in popular drama tv series Mad Man released in 2007 and had 7 successful seasons with total 92 episodes.
In the recent interview when asked about the Batman role, he said, “I’ve heard rumours about that (Batman film) since… season one of Mad Men. I’ve never had a conversation with anybody about it. Literally. And I’ve sat in the rooms with all these guys. Never been offered anything. I think the internet wants what it wants. Can’t control the internet.”

John Hamm earlier stated that he wasn’t interested in playing a superhero. however, he agrees that he devoured the Marvel comics in his childhood.
“I’m pretty knowledgeable about a lot of them (comic book superhero movies),” he added. “I like the genre, and I like them when they’re done well. There’s a lot of interesting things out there, but it depends on the story, you know? It all comes down to the story.”
‘I’d play Batman if there was a good script’
Batman is stalwart, and to present him would take rigorous fitness efforts. About the opportunity for Batman role he said.
“I’d probably fit the suit,” he said, “(but) I’d have to work out a lot, which I don’t love.
In his interview with Bensinger Graham, he clearly said that he would like to play the Batman if the script is good.

He has also made an appearance in Providence, The Division, What About Brian, and Related. He received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Series – Drama in 2008 and again in 2016, and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2015.
