Netflix to adopt the famous fantasy series ‘Chronicles Of Narnia’



The famous fantasy series Chronicles of Narnia will turn into a TV show on Netflix. Netflix is aware of the response got to HBO form the fantasy series Game of Thrones. That could be the reason Netflix wanted to break into the fantasy genre. According to the sources, Netflix has overtaken the rights of all the Chronicles of Narnia written by C.S Lewis.

There are already three movies on the Chronicles of Narnia namely ‘The lion, the witch and Wardrobe (2005), ‘Prince Caspian (2008)’, ‘The Voyage of the Dawn Treader’ (2010).

Netflix can either continue from the third movie or they can choose stories from the series as they now own all the rights of seven books. Probably Netflix will cover all the series as they want more and new audiences. Netflix has not revealed the names of the star cast neither they have disclosed dates.

Netflix to bring back  the  adventurous world of Narnia



The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of the fantasy novel written by C.S. Lewis. The books have sold more than 100 million copies and have been translated into more than 47 languages. The story sets into the imaginary world of the Narnia and the protagonist of the movie are children. The story unveils the history of Narnia and is a great adventure. The children get into the Narnia with through the cupboard. And the lion named Aslan helps them.

It is the first time that any company has got rights of complete fantasy series. The production of movies halted after the third sequel ‘the voyage of the dawns’ in the year 2010. Netflix has also rebooted “Unfortunate Events” which is based on the Novel Anne of Green Gables. The TV series has the star cast of Neil Patrick Harris. Amazon is currently working on the remake of “Lord of the rings” which will be a five season TV show.
