Who Is Sunidhi Chauhan? Gives Birth to a Baby Boy With Her Second Husband
An Indian playback Singer Sunidhi Chauhan on the New Year Day gave birth to a first baby boy. Sunidhi Chauhan got married to Hitesh Sonik a Music composer in 2012, they have been married for five years, and they were ecstatic about their first child. Both the mother and baby boy is doing well in the Hospital.
According to Sunidhi’s obstetrician-gynecologists were Dr. Ranjana Dhanu and Dr Mohan Gadam. Dr Ranjana, “The baby boy and mother (Sunidhi Chauhan) are both doing well. Sunidhi and husband Hitesh are proud of their little bundle of joy who arrived at 5.20pm on January 1, 2018.”
“The delivery was uneventful and the baby boy is healthy and doing well,” said Dr Bhupendra Avasthi, Director, Pediatrics, Surya Hospitals.
Earlier, Sunidhi’s father confirmed the news of her pregnancy to Indianexpress and expressed his excitement on the arrival of their new arrival. He told Indianexpress, “Its a new chapter in Sunidhi’s life and we all are very happy and equally excited. Sunidhi has always been a hardworking child and has made us all proud of her work. But now that we will soon be grandparents I just can’t contain my happiness. She is finishing her prior commitments but as a family, we have taken a decision to not let her do outstation shows as her health is of utmost priority to us.”
Sunidhi Chauhan’s First Marriage With Bobby Khan Did not Last Long
Hitesh is not Sunidhi’s first husband, she had married to director and choreographer Bobby Khan after they worked on the music album, Pehla Nasha. According to reports, they both were married secretly. At the time of marriage, Sunidi Chauhan was just 18-year-old. Unfortunately, their married life could not last long, and they separated from each other, citing, they want different things from life.
After dating four long years to her close friend Hitesh Sonik, their friendship turned into love and they got married on April 24, 2012. She revealed her pregnancy on her 34th Birthday anniversary, and finally she delivered a baby boy and became mother.
On the work front, She made her career debut at the age of thirteen, with the film Shastra (1996). During the year, she also won the first singing reality show titled Meri Awaz Suno and rose to prominence after recording “Ruki Ruki Si Zindagi” from Mast (1999). It won her Film fare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent and was nominated for the Best Female Playback Singer.
Sunidhi Chauhan Is a Queen of Item Songs
Sunighi Chauhan’s second breakthrough was released in 2000, with the song “Mehboob Mere” from Fiza, for which she won another Filmfare nomination. In her career, she performed mostly item songs and was described by the media as the “queen of item songs”.
Chauhan received her third Filmfare nomination with the song “Dhoom Machale” from Dhoom (2004) followed by two more nominations during the next year for “Kaisi Paheli” and “Deedar De” from Parineeta and Dus respectively. In 2006, she was bestowed with her first Filmfare award for her rendition of the song “Beedi” from Omkara and further two nominations for “Soniye” from Aksar and “Aashiqui Main” from 36 China Town.
Sunidhi Chauhan Made an International Singing Debut With Enrique Iglesias
In 2007, she recorded the title song of Aaja Nachle (2007) and “Sajnaaji Vaari“, both were quite famous among people and grabbed the public attention. Chauhan received her twelfth Filmfare nomination with “Chor Bazaari” of Love Aaj Kal (2009) preceded by “Dance Pe Chance” from Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008). In 2010, she received her second Filmfare award with the item song “Sheila Ki Jawani” (2010) and was nominated for international styled carnival song “Udi” from Guzaarish (2010).
The year marked her International singing debut, where she was featured in an alternate version of the song “Heartbeat” alongside Enrique Iglesias.
