Radhika Apte and Netflix affair continues

 Radhika Apte is all over the Netflix. Latest hits such as Lust Stories, Sacred Games and now thrilling Ghoul; have featured the actresses portraying different characters. Her ubiquitous appearance on the Netflix has been the reason for countless humorous memes which are going viral on the social media.

Amid this all, Netflix itself came with a few hilarious memes and caught the attention of all. Netflix tweeted that “whatever the role, Radhika apt hai”beating all the other memes out there on the social media. Moreover, Netflix has shared the video with the caption as whatever the role, Radhika apt hai”. The video clip is about the behind the scenes of the upcoming show Omnipresent where she is playing all the roles. As the video ends, Netflix is changed to “Radflix”.

Also, Netflix has changed it’s Instagram bio to  “just another official Radhika Apte”. As Padman is now streamed on the Netflix which also features the actress, Netflix grabbed one more opportunity for the meme. Netflix tweeted that “Pad Man is now streaming and we’re not just saying this because Radhika Apte is in it but yes Radhika Apte is in it.”

Radhika Apte takes all the social media memes as a compliment.

After asking what exactly she feels about the She memes she said “I was very happy. I think it is a great compliment because it is such a great platform. Who would not like to be a part of the projects from Netflix”

She also added that  “With Netflix, what happens is that they stress on the quality because it is a global platform. They will give you the freedom to choose topics, projects, and creative control, but they are very particular about the quality”

Talking about the “Omnipresent”-a two-minute video with Vikramaditya Motwane she said,

“I think we do make content which has universal appeal so it’s important that people around the world watch it. At least in the art world, the borders are sort of disappearing so I think this is a very organic next step.”
