Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na

It’s a tale of college besties, Jai, the most non-violent Rajput ever and Aditi, a highly aggressive and unpredictable girl. They want to settle down in life after college but not with each other. They don’t realise or accept love for each other until Jai finds a girl and Aditi starts missing him and his fellowship.

The movie is filled with romance, action and has a box full of humour that will help you have a fun date night with your companion. The Wes Anderson directorial stars Ralph Fiennes in the lead role. Again one more romantic comedy movie from Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. The film marks the third time Sandler and Barrymore co-starred in a film together, after The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. In the movie, Divorcee Lauren Reynolds (Drew) goes on a blind date with widower Jim Friedman (Adam) at Hooters; it goes badly. After that, they both meet accidentally in South Africa trip and slowly fall in love with each other. (Though the movie got negative reviews from the critic it’s must watch for Adam and Drew fans)


Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

When Raj meets Simran in Europe, it’s isn’t love at first sight but when Simran flies back to India for an arranged marriage, love makes its presence felt. Considered as one of the greatest romantic movies of all time, It also the longest-running film in the history of Indian cinema. As of 2018, over 20 years after its first release, it is still being shown at the Maratha Mandir theatre in Mumbai.

The 1997 movie is based on a true story of the sinking of the “unsinkable” Titanic in 1912. Socha Na Tha is a romantic movie, from the love guru of Indian Cinema i.e Imtiaz Ali. The film marks the directorial debut of Imtiaz Ali. It is one of the best romantic films, despite receiving a lukewarm response at the box office. Two people who are arranged to marry each other, refuse to do so but end up falling in love with one another eventually. No love at first sight, no over-the-top scenes, this film was as real as it gets. Abhay’s uncle Dharmendra produced it. It was also remade into Telugu as Premante Inte.
